So I Could Join the Circus Now . . .

Hey everybody, I never know how to start these, so I am going to just jump right into it.

So starting off the week we had interviews with President here, and those are always so much fun.  Our President is a blast and a really fun guy. And I just feel like me and him are homies since I was in the mission home for the first week and a half of my mission sickly with salmonella.  But yeah that was way good and a great opportunity to just talk to someone that has the best intentions and wants to help you in whatever way he can.  Plus for interviews we all did like a district potluck, so food and interviews just makes it all the better!

Later on in the week we got caught up in helping one of the English elders members move because the English elders couldn't go apparently.  I thought it would be pretty quick, but everything just had to be done in a particular order and it just dragged on and on for so long, and not to help, but there was actually wind that day, which is rare in Minnesota, and it was the coldest wind ever.

Another fun thing this week was that I got to go on two different exchanges.  One with our zone leaders, and another with some elders right by our area here, and they both had their own adventures. The first one was by far the craziest.  So we started off by going to this service with a bunch of people and just helping people pack food for countries that are in need, and that was just a fun time to get to know people and just serve. Then when we got back, because we had a ride to service we tried to get ready to go out and work.  This is where the adventure begins.  So my bike was out of commission because I had to completely replace a tube and the tube that I had extra was the wrong size... (Got it exchanged and fixed now though for free)  And so we were going to use my comps bike and one of the zls bikes because we live with them.  So turns out my comp took his bike keys for some reason, and one of the zls bikes lock wouldn't come off. So we had 1 bike to the two of us.  And we only had limited time before dinner a couple miles away. So being the thinkers that we are, we put him on the handle bars and I pedaled and was on the seat, so basically we could go in the circus now, and we didn't even fall and made it to dinner on time, so that was so much fun.

Well that was our week in a nutshell, otherwise we had a lot of finding and just going forward in the cold of Minnesota.  A mission is not always easy that is for sure, but its all about how you handle the hardships and whether you chose to push through, or throw in the towel, just as it is with life sometimes, so keep on pushing forward everyone, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.  I hope you all have a great week!
