Welcome home!!

Yay!  Ryan finally made it.  We finally made it.  After a mission and a long quarantine he finally came home.  The Corona Virus changed  the world and impacted missionary work in many ways.  Ryan experienced a bit of it and it was challenging.  He was ready to come end and begin the next phase of life.

The airport scene looked a little different.  Greaters were limited to immediate family members only and the reunion took place in the parking garage.  None the less, it was joyful.

After a lunch at Sweeto Burrito we headed home to a welcoming committee from the family.  It was truly wonderful to see the support and feel the love.  Later in the day, the ward had a welcome parade for Ryan as well.  It was a great day.

The last 6 weeks of Ryan's mission was hard in so many ways.  It was sad that he couldn't sprint to the finish line in the way he anticipated.  But he was faithful until the end and the Lord blessed him in different ways.  We are so grateful for Ryan's mission and the man he became because of it.
